Veteran's Day Freebies 2023 - Free Meals, Discounts, and More

To honor Veterans and active military this Saturday, Nov. 11th, we've compiled a list of the latest Veteran's Day freebies, deals, and more in this year's Veteran's Day Freebies & Deals RoundUp!

Veterans Day is quickly approaching and there are many great opportunities for both veterans and active duty military to enjoy tokens of gratitude by means of free meals, discounts, free samples, and other freebies!

You’ll also want to pay close attention to the dates. With Veterans Day falling on Saturday this year, some events are happening on Friday, some on Saturday, and even others on Monday! Of course that will also enable you to enjoy more of them!

911 Memorial & Museum
Veterans will receive free admission to the museum during a five-day "Salute to Service" from November 8-12, as well as half-price admission for up to three family members. They will host a series of events and programs for veterans, their families, and the visiting public.

Academy Sports + Outdoors
Academy Sports + Outdoors is offering active-duty service members and veterans 10% off their entire purchase online or in-store from October 22 to November 12, 2023.

The All-American Steakhouse
The All American Steakhouse is inviting all Veterans to join us on either November 10th or 11th for a FREE Sandwich/Burger of their choice with Fries. (Available from 11:30am-4pm. Dine-in only)

Akron Zoo
All veterans receive free admission with a valid military I.D. Immediate family members receive 50% off admission. Veteran discounts are not available online. To receive a Veterans' Appreciation Days discount, please come to the ticket counter to purchase tickets.

Anthony’s Coal-Fired Pizza & Wings
Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings will honor our American heroes with a Free 12″ Cheese Pizza at Anthony’s. This special will be valid at all Anthony’s location for dine-in only on Saturday, November 11th. Guests must present their military ID to redeem.

Applebee’s
On Saturday, November 11 in celebration of Veterans Day, Applebee’s will give thanks to all Active Duty Military, Veterans, Reserves, and National Guard who dine in-restaurant with a complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive menu created just for them. The Applebee’s 2023 Veterans Day Menu includes a choice of seven popular entrées including: 6 oz. Top Sirloin, Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter, Double Crunch Shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Oriental Chicken Salad, and Three-Cheese Chicken Penne.

Aquarium of the Pacific
In celebration of Veterans Day, the Aquarium of the Pacific honors veterans and military personnel. These individuals are invited to enjoy the Aquarium with free admission on November 11th from 9:00 am–6:00 pm PT. Must show service ID. Advance reservations are required with limited capacity.

Ark Encounter
Former and Active Duty Military are free on Veterans Day (November 11). Available for on-site ticket purchases and may not be combined with any other promotional offers or discounts. Children ages 10 and under are free. [Note: this is a sister attraction to Creation Museum, so you can do both!

Aura
In honor of Veterans Day, Aura is offering military service members and their families a 68% discount and are extending Aura's free trial to 30 days (normally 14 days).

Saturday, November 11th is Military Appreciation day at Churchill Downs. Attendees showing a valid I.D. will receive FREE general admission or a discounted ticket to Millionaires Row or Skye Terrace for only $38.

Cincinnati Zoo
All members of the military — active and retired — will receive FREE admission to the Zoo on Veteran’s Day.  The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six (6) discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family. Military personnel who qualify for the free admission ticket and discount offer for family members include active military, retired military, National Guard, veterans with an honorable or medical discharge, and Reserve Officers’ Training Corps with government-issued ID.  Simply present your credentials at the turnstiles on select holidays.  Guests with discounted tickets must enter with the military personnel who are eligible for free entry.

Circle K
Circle K are honoring all those that have served with a FREE cup of coffee via the Circle K app on Saturday, November 11th

City Barbeque
City Barbeque will commemorate Veterans Day by treating veterans and troops to a meal on the house. All day on Saturday, November 11, all veterans and members of the US military can stop by any City Barbeque location and receive a free sandwich, side, and beverage, applicable on either dine-in or carryout orders. Every City Barbeque location is also accepting thank-you cards from the community to distribute to vets on November 11. Huddle House is paying tribute to those who are serving or have served in the military with a Free MVP Breakfast Platter this Veterans Day. To honor those who serve our country, all current and former military members receive free admission on Veterans Day.

Indiana State Parks
All veterans and active-duty military personnel, and everyone in their vehicle, will be admitted free to DNR state parks, reservoir properties, state forest recreation areas, and off-road state recreation areas on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11.

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant
